David Reuther

David Reuther is a profoundly gifted teacher and artist. He has been teaching vocal lessons for the last fifteen years utilizing his music education and his vast entertainment industry experience. In 2013, David received a Grammy nomination for Music Educator of the Year. He is happy to lend his extraordinary ear, positive attitude, and ability to effectively communicate vocal concepts and methods to all of his students.

He does not teach just one style, he teaches with the intent to find the style that works best for his clients.

He started his formal education on a full ride scholarship to the world-renowned Eastman School of Music. He earned three degrees from the University of California, Irvine in Vocal performance, Music Education, and Entertainment Communications. He then continued his education under various vocal scholars in Los Angeles, New York, and Europe.

David’s professional experience includes promoting Grammy Award winning hip hop group, The Black Eyed Peas, working as a casting director for FOX-TV’s  “American Idol”, and music directing for countless theater companies and productions. David performed in the national Broadway tour of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as Joseph. He logged over 300 performances nationwide and New York Newsday named him “One of the best Joseph’s to ever play the role.”

David now rarely performs as he prefers to focus solely on his clients.

“I get so much more out of teaching then I ever have on a stage. Honestly, it is a bigger rush watching the light go on in a client’s eye, than a standing ovation ever gave me.”

David’s dynamic and inspiring master vocal coaching and mentoring arms singers and songwriters with the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual tools necessary to thrive in music and the ever-changing industry.
